Abstract

Abstract : (Abstracted from N Engl J Med 2017;376:2245–2254) Lithium is a first-line treatment for women of reproductive age with bipolar disorder. However, concerns persist that exposure increases the risk of congenital cardiac defects including Ebstein anomaly, a right ventricular outflow tract obstruction defect.
