- Abstract : Tridirectionally anisotropic sliding superhydrophobicity is achieved by introducing steps‐like structures (SLS) in microgroove array (MGA). The periodic structures are directly constructed on polydimethylsiloxane by selective femtosecond laser ablation. The laser‐induced SLS‐in‐MGA surface shows tridirectional anisotropy which combines the rice‐leaf‐like and butterfly‐wing‐like anisotropic properties. This is reported by Feng Chen, Qing Yang and co‐workers in article number1701245 .
