- Abstract : The Front Cover shows the synthesis of important drugs used to treat brain disorders and N ‐methylated and ‐alkylated molecules that are used in the life sciences, catalyzed by nanosized Co3 O4 ‐particles surrounded by nitrogen‐doped graphene layers. In their Full Paper, T. Senthamarai et al. demonstrate that earth‐abundant cobalt oxide nanocatalysts can be used for the synthesis of various N ‐methyl and N ‐alkylamines, amino acid derivatives and drug molecules starting from nitroarenes or amines and aqueous formaldehyde or aldehydes in presence of formic acid.
