- GRAPHICAL ABSTRACT: ABSTRACT: The manganese chelate complex with MHA-H (the anion derived from the so-called methionine hydroxy-analogue, MHA) has been synthesized and characterized. The single-crystal structure (C10 H18 MnO6 S2, 1, monoclinic, space group P 21 / c, Z = 4, a = 15.810(5), b = 9.359(3), c = 10.255(3) Å, β = 91.312(6)°) exhibits that each Mn(II) center is chelated by two anions derived from MHA, which is extended to μ-carboxylate O atoms bridged dinuclear Mn(II) complex. The thermo-stability of the complex1 was investigated by thermal gravity analyses, and the apparent activation energy ( Ea ) of the decomposition were also calculated.CCDC 1418465
