- ABSTRACT: Significant attention has recently been given to a class of enhancers termed "super enhancers", while implying that "typical enhancers" are less important. In this report, we examine criteria for identification of super enhancers and address the need to evaluate the differences between BRD4-occupied "typical" and "super" enhancers.
