- Abstract : Brachytherapy for prostate cancer involves placing radioactive seeds directly into the prostate, with the aim of protecting healthy surrounding tissue. This article reviews the current indications for brachytherapy treatment and the different options available. The practicalities and potential complications of treatment are also considered.
