- Abstract : Tetrahedral DNA nanostructures (TDNs) have gathered great attention and are being widely used in biomedicine. Abstract : Tetrahedral DNA nanostructures (TDNs) have gathered great attention and are being widely used in biomedicine. We demonstrated that autophagy increased after exposure to TDNs (250 nM) along with the up-regulation of several autophagy-related genes and proteins. TDNs enhanced cell autophagy through the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.
