- Abstract : A small amount of non-deteriorated lignin dramatically enhances the heatproof properties of a synthetic polymer. Abstract : Here we found that a small amount of non-deteriorated lignin enhanced the heat-tolerance properties of a synthetic polymer without the need for inorganic, halogen, or phosphorus compounds. Non-deteriorated lignin's radical scavenging properties and its platelet-like nanoparticle shape make it an excellent heatproof filler that is unmatched by conventional heatproof fillers.
