Abstract : Cuboidal‐shaped dimers, here shown against a background of the Cubos de la Memoria (Llanes, Asturias), are formed as the sole products of a covalent self‐assembly reaction triggered by the treatment of the compound [Mo(η 3 ‐methallyl)(CO)2 (Metz)(N‐N)]OTf (Metz=1‐methyl‐1, 2, 3‐triazole; N‐N=2, 2'‐bipyridine or 1, 10‐phenanthroline) with the strong base KN(SiMe3 )2 .
