- Abstract : Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) used as chromium(VI) adsorbent are mainly restricted by their low adsorption capacity. F. Luo et al. show in their Communication onpage 16376 ff. that the so‐called MOF + method, which relies on the surface rather than the pores of MOFs, enables ultrahigh Cr VI removal of up to 796 Cr mg g −1, which is mainly due to a significant synergic effect between MOF and FeSO4 .
