DOI:10.1002/elps.201700248 The cover picture shows the application of metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) for sample preparation and chromatographic analysis. Porous materials such as MOFs and COFs have shown great potential in the field of analytical chemistry. The MOF‐ or COF‐based solid‐phase extraction, solid‐phase microextraction, gas chromatography, high‐performance liquid chromatography and capillary electrochromatography methods are described. The excellent properties of MOFs and COFs have resulted in intense interest in exploring their performance and mechanisms for sample preparation and chromatographic separation.
