Abstract

Abstract : Iranian scientists during 2003-2015 attended in this conference and have presented their scientific papers and experiences. So, current paper wants to study on the presence of Iranian scholars in COLLNET conferences during 2003-2015. The present research is conducted using scientometric and social network analysis (SNA) methods. For data gathering proceedings of COLLNET conferences during 2003-2015 are used. Full name of Iranian scholars and their affliations will extracted. Then, for drawing the co authorship network among them UCINET Software and metrics like Degree centrality, Closeness centrality were applied. Current paper indicated that network of collaboration among Iranian scholars is strong but with other countries is weak. It is suggested to do other research about motivations of Iranian scholars for internal and international scientific collaboration.
