- Abstract:
- Abstract : The Frontline social work training programme in England represents an attempt to develop an elite entry programme to social work and to develop future social work leaders. It has received significant backing from senior political figures from the right of the political spectrum and from conservative charities and business interests. An adaption of the earlier Teach First programme, it represents an explicit break from previous consensus-based models of educational development in the UK.
