Abstract

Abstract : The 2017 Polyurethane Innovation Award from the American Chemistry Council's Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) has been won by Chemours' Opteon™ 1100 blowing agent. The award was announced at the 2017 Polyurethanes Technical Conference in New Orleans, LA, USA. Elsewhere, Songwon's efforts to resolve the stabilization issues in polymeric flame retardants have been recognized with the 2016 European Frost & Sullivan Award for New Product Innovation.
