- Abstract : In China, Aditya Birla Group company Birla Carbon has opened its new, greenfield carbon black plant in Jining, Shandong province, marking the completion of the first phase of a dual-stage construction project. The facility currently has an installed capacity of 120 000 tonnes/year but this will be expanded to 240 000 tonnes/year in the second phase, the company says.
