- Abstract : In the USA, BASF Corp has commenced production of Palatinol ® DOTP (dioctyl terephthalate) at its Pasadena facility in Texas. The new plant has the capacity to produce 60 000 tonnes annually of the general-purpose, non-ortho-phthalate plasticizer. The company also recently started up a 100 000 tonnes/year plant for DOTP feedstock material 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) at the same site.
