Abstract

Abstract : BASF's Irgastab ® PUR 70 liquid heat stabilizer blend for polyols has won the European Flexible PU Foam Innovation Award. The novel anti-scorch system, which is free from both amines and aromatic solvents, is suitable for use in the production of both polyester- and polyether–based flexible foams, and in polyurethane (PUR) flexible foams for automotive applications complying with the VDA 278 10/11 standard. The innovation award is presented by EUROPUR and Urethanes Technology International .
