Abstract

Abstract: Polycrystalline Ca2 MgOsO6 (I) and Sr2 MgOsO6 (II) are prepared by high‐pressure solid state reaction of stoichiometric amounts of CaO2 (SrO2 ), Os, MgO, and KClO4 (Pt capsule in belt‐type high‐pressure apparatus, 6 GPa, 1500 °C, 1 h).
