Abstract

Abstract : Cu3 [H6 W12 O42 ] cluster heterogeneous catalysts for inulin hydrolysis towards fructose production with 100% conversion and 90% selectivity under aqueous condition are achieved. Abstract : Herein, a novel 3D open bimetallic Cu3 [H6 W12 O42 ] cluster was designed as an effective solid acid catalyst for the hydrolysis of renewable biomass inulin by heterogeneous catalytic reaction towards fructose production with a high inulin conversion (∼100%) and fructose selectivity (∼90%) at low temperatures under aqueous condition with economic feasibility.
