- Abstract: In this study, magnetic Mnx Co3-x O4 microboxes were synthesized in a simple process by annealing Mn3 [Co(CN)6 ]2 ·nH2 O Prussian blue analogues. The as-prepared nanohybrids were comprehensively characterized by X-ray diffraction, X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy. For the first time, we assessed the use of Mnx Co3-x O4 microboxes as an effective sensing template for enhanced hydrazine, hydrogen peroxide, and nitrobenzene by electrochemical detection. The novel Mnx Co3-x O4 microboxes can provide new features for electrochemical sensor applications because of the excellent electrocatalytic properties of Mn-Co mixed-valence transition metal oxides. The successful fabrication of Mnx Co3-x O4 microboxes may facilitate the design of novel electrochemical sensors and promote the development of new electrode materials.
