- Abstract : Reversible conversion between Cu 2+ and Cu +, together with Cu x O photosensitizer function and p–n heterojunction formation, lead to highly active and stable visible light photocatalytic performance of hybrid Cu x O/SrTiO3 . Abstract : Reversible conversion of Cu 2+ and Cu + under illumination and with oxidation is demonstrated over Cu x O/SrTiO3 . Such Cu 2+ /Cu + homeostasis together with its photosensitizer function and p–n heterojunction formation has lead to highly active and stable visible photocatalytic performance. This strategy will provide some new insights into the design of highly efficient photocatalysts.
