- Abstract: The airflow characteristic and air supply uniformity of four kinds of air supply ducts were discussed by the way of numerical simulation for a B car-type subway vehicle. The results indicate that attaching spoiler panels and mixing chamber can improve air supply uniformity, the vertical size of spoiler panels influence strongly air distribution in duct, and taking out the front-end inclined dummy plate of mixing chamber can further enhance the air supply uniformity. In conclusion the best structure of all is the air supply duct with spoiler panels and mixing chamber except its front-end inclined dummy plate.
