Abstract

Abstract : ( Am J Obstet Gynecol . 2016;215(1):85.e1–85.e8) Surgeon volume is known to be associated directly with morbidity and mortality rates in surgical procedures. Cesarean delivery (CD) is correlated to increased maternal morbidity including hemorrhage, infection, pelvic organ damage, and increased number of hospital readmissions. This study aimed to investigate whether annual surgeon volumes had an impact on outcomes in CDs.
