- Abstract: Reasonably use of natural ventilation is conducive to improving building energy efficiency and indoor air quality, In order to explore the reasonable natural ventilation modes of residential buildings in Shenyang. In summer, through investigation and analysis of residential buildings in Shenyang, Analyzes the situation of Shenyang residents to use natural ventilation to eliminate indoor pollutants. Using CFD software Airpak 3.0 for numerical simulation analysis. Taking the benzene as the indoor pollution source. Four different natural ventilation strategies are used to simulate the velocity field, concentration field and mean age of air in the room. Finally, through the comparative analysis, the conclusion is that the natural ventilation mode case 4 is the best, followed by the case 2, case 3 and case 1. Finding reasonable natural ventilation strategies in Shenyang and providing the theoretical basis for the indoor air quality assurance and energy saving in Shenyang.
