- Abstract : The combination of commercial easily available Au/TiO2 as catalyst and cost-effective formic acid as reductant was able to render reductive amination of various carbonyl compounds. Abstract : The combination of commercial easily available Au/TiO2 as catalyst and cost-effective formic acid as reductant was able to render reductive amination of various carbonyl compounds. Aldehydes and ketones were converted into secondary and tertiary amines in good to excellent yields. The supported gold nanoparticles could be easily recycled by simple filtration.
