Abstract

Abstract : This paper summarises the recent progress of cathode and anode materials for high energy lithium secondary batteries in our group, and highlights the methods to improve the energy density of lithium secondary batteries, the designs of special nanostructure, unique morphologies and the strategies of surface coating and synthesis of these materials. The future challenges for high energy lithium secondary batteries are discussed.
