Abstract

Abstract : The Cover picture symbolically represents the effect of different activators (watering cans) on the olefin polymerization activity of two half‐sandwich titanium ketimide complexes (flowers in pots).In their Full Paper, V. Varga et al. describe that the complex with the cyclopentadienyl‐tethered ketimide moiety is only poorly active when methylaluminoxane is used as the activator. However, if an aluminum‐free activator system based on hydrosilane and B(C6 F5 )3 is used, both complexes perform comparably well. In the background, a glass polymerization autoclave full of precipitated high‐density polyethylene prepared with one of the mentioned catalytic systems is shown.
