Abstract

Abstract : ( BJOG. 2015;122(5):702–711) Cesarean section (CS) rates have been increasing in high-income and middle-income countries over the past decade and have risen in Australia from 23.3% in 2000 to 32.3% in 2011. As CS is associated with maternal and neonatal complications, it should only be performed when there is a definite benefit to the woman or her fetus.
