- Abstract : A facile and efficient iodine-promoted Meyer–Schuster rearrangement of propargyl alcohols for the synthesis of α-iodo-α, β-unsaturated ketones is presented. Abstract : A facile and efficient iodine-promoted Meyer–Schuster rearrangement of propargyl alcohols for the synthesis of α-iodo-α, β-unsaturated ketones is presented. The reaction is concisely conducted at ambient temperature and shows good functional group tolerance.
