- Abstract : Surv Anesthesiol 2016;60(2):45–45 Reports suggest that 1 in 150 hospitalized patients experiences a lethal adverse event, with half of these events involving surgical patients. Although previous research focuses on surgeons, little is known about the influence of anesthesiologists on patient outcomes after major surgery.
