Abstract

Abstract : It is shown that the sensing properties of perylenes can be modulated by stereoisomerism of alkyl chains in the bay regions. Abstract : Here we have shown that it is possible to modulate intermolecular interactions of perylene dyes by simply changing the stereoisomerism of the alkyl chain. These modulated intermolecular interactions have been translated into crystal structures, π–π spacing as well as π–π overlap in solid films, and observed in current changes.
