Abstract : New phosphorogenic bioorthogonal probes derived from rhenium(i ) polypyridine tetrazine complexes have been designed. Abstract : New phosphorogenic bioorthogonal probes derived from mononuclear and binuclear rhenium(i ) polypyridine complexes containing a 1, 2, 4, 5-tetrazine moiety were designed; these complexes displayed substantial dienophile-induced emission enhancement, and accelerated reaction kinetics and could target a protein conjugate in living cells.
