- Abstract: This paper deals with the study of fabrication of composite with different wt% of carbon nanofiber (CNF) along with its effect on mechanical property like tensile, flexural and impact strength with increase in wt% of CNF. The density of the fabricated composite is determined by Archimedes principle and volume fraction of void of composite is also found out. Wear test is conducted by considering three parameters i.e.% of filler, sliding distance and load with three levels for each samples. Taguchi's L9 orthogonal array is used to carry out the experimentation. Analysis of variance is performed to study the effect of above parameters on specific wear rate. It is found that the effect of load on specific wear rate is most significant.
