- Abstract : Strong coupling between propagating surface plasmon polaritons and localized magnetic plasmon polaritons can significantly enhance the light–matter interaction at the nanoscale. In article1700469, Shumin Xiao, Qinghai Song, and co‐workers enhance the magnetic field of one‐dimensional‐grating‐based optical metamaterials more than 500 times and demonstrate applications in highly sensitive optical sensors. As demonstrated on the back cover, this research can pave a new way to the development of sensors.
