- Abstract : The hierarchical chiral self‐assembly of peptides in evaporating liquid film is reported by Wei Qi and co‐workers in article number1700514 . By changing the fluid mechanical effects under two distinct regimes: the "coffee ring" effect caused by outward capillary flow and the Rayleigh convection by buoyancy force, the peptides could self‐assemble into well‐aligned nanohelixes with their axis parallel or perpendicular to the substrate.
