- Abstract:
- Abstract : Traditional corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts have often been criticized for a lack of integration into core business processes, leading some organizations to seek CSR strategies that align profitability with social value. According to Mandalah, a global social consulting firm based in São Paulo, Brazil, introducing systems thinking with a focus on CSR into business models can drive economic success. The firm's experiences with leading multinational enterprises demonstrate that reengineering business models to consider the societal impact of operating decisions can enhance profitability while benefiting the surrounding community. ©2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
