- Abstract : The Cover highlights the importance of the commercial methanol‐to‐olefins (MTO) process, which is catalyzed by small‐pore zeolites with the chabazite structure such as SSZ‐13.In their Full Paper, X. Zhu, N. Kosinov et al. combine two advanced spectroscopy techniques to understand how hierarchical pore organization of SSZ‐13 zeolite enhances the performance at different length scales. At the crystal scale, the influence of pore hierarchy on acid site accessibility was investigated by Nanometer Accuracy by Stochastic Chemical reActions (NASCA) fluorescent microscopy. The way the hierarchical structuring improves catalyst lifetime was imaged at the reactor scale by Positron Emission Tomography (PET). More information can be found in the Full Paper by X. Zhu, N.
