Abstract:: Abstract: Ultrasound‐mediated hetero Diels—Alder reaction of chalcones (II) with ketenes, generated in situ from acetyl chlorides (I) under phase‐transfer catalysis conditions, results in the efficient formation of dihydropyranones (III).
