- Abstract : We investigated the cross-sectional structure of a molecular monolayer nanotube self-assembled from asymmetric bolaamphiphiles having two different hydrophilic headgroups. Abstract : We investigated the cross-sectional structure of a molecular monolayer nanotube self-assembled from asymmetric bolaamphiphiles having two different hydrophilic headgroups. Small-angle X-ray scattering measurements clarified that the glucose and amino headgroups form the exterior and interior surfaces of the nanotube, respectively.
