Abstract

Highlights: Fondaparinux was granted a European market authorization for SVT treatment. In France, fondaparinux is currently the first drug prescribed in SVT by vascular physicians. SVT drug prescriptions, dosage and duration continue to vary widely. The study supports the extrapolability of CALISTO results in every-day practice.
