- Abstract: The thermal [3 + 2] cycloaddition reaction of phthalazinium dicyanomethanide with various allenoates worked efficiently under mild reaction conditions to give functionalized tetrahydropyrrolo[2, 1- a ]phthalazine derivatives in good to excellent yields and excellent diastereoselectivities.
