- Graphical abstract: Photographs of as grown (a) pure (b) ADP doped and (c)l -tartaric acid doped TGS crystals. Highlights: Good quality crystals of Pure, ADP andl -tartaric acid doped TGS were grown. The cut off wavelength of pure and doped crystals are in the range 230–240 nm. The dielectric studies reveal the transition temperature of pure and doped TGS crystals. The SHG efficiency ofl -tartaric acid doped TGS crystals is 0.14 times that of standard KDP crystal. The laser damage threshold value ofl -tartaric acid doped crystal is found to be higher.
