- Abstract: Surgicel ® is an absorbable sheet. It was first introduced into clinical practice as a haemostatic agent. It was also used in plastic surgery for positioning the free flap pedicle to avoid kinking. Here, we report a novel technique that is cheap, easy and readily available for intraoperative correction of unexpected depressed scar. This technique can avoid the need for another operative procedure for correction.
