- Abstract : A spatiotemporally‐controllable peptide‐based nanoassembly in a single living cell, for a biological self‐portrait is reported by Xing‐Jie Liang and co‐workers in article number1601128 . The suitability of the synthesized probe is indicated by rapid cell permeation, sitespecific in situ self‐assembly, responsive fluorescence, superior biocompatibility and sensitivity, and robustness, which allows longterm recording and simultaneously evaluating the real‐time location and bioactivity. This noninvasive investigation can be further expanded to other bioactive molecules, thus facilitating quantitative imaging in vivo.
