- Abstract: Molybdenum–nitride complexes bearing pincer ligands have been designed, prepared, and characterized spectroscopically. The synthetic method described in this paper provides a convenient and useful approach to the preparation of cationic molybdenum(V)–nitride complexes that may act as catalysts for the formation of ammonia from molecular dinitrogen under ambient reaction conditions.. Abstract : Molybdenum–nitride complexes bearing pincer ligands have been designed, prepared, and characterized spectroscopically. The catalytic activities of these molybdenum–nitride complexes have been investigated in the formation of ammonia from molecular dinitrogen under ambient conditions.
