Abstract

Translation abstract: When it comes to teaching nanotechnology, the focused nanomaterial is most often the focal point of the teaching course. The interesting and oftentimes unique properties constitute the basis for the experimental investigations and the resulting learning opportunities within a course concept. Hence, the synthesis and synthesis concepts for nanomaterials are of particular importance for Nanoscience Education. This article presents two different approaches. First, we will make use of the special reaction conditions of the so‐called Leidenfrost reactor to obtain several nanoparticles in aqueous solutions. Then we will illustrate, how nanostructured silica materials with high surface‐to‐volume‐ratios can easily be synthesized by a facile templating reaction. Both cases are Green Chemistry syntheses since only very small amounts of chemicals are needed or they can be easily recycled.
