- Abstract : (Abstracted from Int Urogynecol J 2017;28:77–84) A common approach for surgical management of apical vaginal prolapse is use of the high uterosacral ligament suspension (USLS) procedure. Definitions of success for this procedure vary; its demonstrated efficacy for apical prolapse ranges from 59% to 98.3%.
