Abstract: o‐Thioquinones, generated via a copper‐mediated 1, 4‐elimination at sulfur of o, o′‐dihydroxy disulfides (I), are trapped in an inverse electron‐demand hetero Diels—Alder reaction with electron‐rich alkenes to give dihydrobenzooxathiines (II).
