Abstract

Abstract : A family of two small and easily synthesizable 1, 2, 3-triazole molecules with intrinsic white-light-emission in the solid state has been reported. The white light is assigned to the supramolecular aggregate emission (SAE) that is unusual for single-component white light phosphors. Abstract : White light emission from single-component small organic triazole molecules in the solid state was observed for the first time. This unusual intrinsic broadband emission, stemming from the supramolecular aggregate instead of the excimer, can be tuned by controlling the degree of electron delocalization and intensities of intermolecular interactions.
