- Abstract: In this paper we obtain the existence of a global attractor for the Kirchhoff equations with strong nonlinear damping, which attracts every H 0 1 ( Ω ) × L 2 ( Ω ) -bounded set with respect to the H 0 1 ( Ω ) × H 0 1 ( Ω ) norm.
